How long does it actually take?

Five minutes to answer the questions, 90 seconds to see your wordmark preview, then about 10 minutes for the full 18-asset kit to assemble in the background.

Do I need to know anything about design?

No. The whole point of Vellem is that you don't have to know the difference between a serif and a sans-serif. You answer questions about what your brand feels like, pick a palette by vibe rather than hex codes, and choose a graphic mark style by clicking the one that feels right.

What if I hate the result?

You see a full preview before you pay anything. The preview shows your wordmark, your mark, your palette, and 8 of your asset tiles, all watermarked. If you don't love it, don't pay.

Can I use my Vellem brand for anything?

Yes. 100% commercial rights are included. Use it on your website, social, packaging, ads, products, services, signage, anything.

What file formats do I get?

SVG for vector use (infinite scaling), PNG with transparency, JPG for web, and PDF for print. Your logo and mark come in light, dark, and color variations. Color codes come in hex, RGB, and CMYK.

What's the difference between the Kit and Pro?

The Kit ($149 one-time) is the base purchase. One complete brand identity, owned forever, no subscription. Pro is an optional $19/month add-on you can toggle on at checkout: it gives you unlimited brand kits, 12 additional Pro asset types, a brand voice generator, multi-brand workspace, and a direct Slack line to us. The first month of Pro is free, so you save $19 on your same-day total if you opt in. Pick the Kit alone if you're building one specific business. Add Pro if you have more than one project in mind. And try it free for 30 days.

How does the first-month-free Pro work, exactly?

If you toggle on the Pro add-on at Kit checkout, the first month is included at $0. We apply a $19 discount to your total today, so your Kit + Pro charge is $130 instead of $149. On day 31, $19/month begins. We email you 3 days before that first charge so it's never a surprise. Cancel anytime before day 30 from your account, and you keep the Kit with zero further charges.

Can I add Pro later, after I've already bought the Kit?

Yes. From your account page, toggle on Pro at any time. The first month free still applies. $19/month after that, cancel anytime.

If I cancel Pro, do I lose my brand kits?

No. Every kit you generated while on Pro is yours forever, with full commercial rights, accessible from your kit page indefinitely. Cancellation stops future $19 charges and disables new generation. Existing files stay yours.

Will I be reminded before being charged?

Yes. We email a reminder 3 days before each monthly Pro renewal. Including the very first $19 charge at the end of your free month. Your next billing date is always visible on your account page. Cancel from your account in two clicks; no retention calls.

Is my brand unique to me?

Yes. Every kit is generated specifically for your inputs. We don't reuse logos. The combination of your brand name, your industry choices, your aesthetic direction, your palette, and your mark style produces a kit that's mathematically yours alone.

What if I want a designer to refine it further?

Great idea. Many customers use Vellem as a starting point for a designer to refine. The SVG files are fully editable in Illustrator, Figma, or any vector editor.

Can I generate brands for multiple businesses?

Yes. With the Kit alone, each business needs its own one-time purchase ($149 each). Or add Pro for $19/month (first month free) and generate unlimited brands while subscribed. Usually the right choice once you have two or more brands in mind.

What if my brand needs a complete rebrand later?

On the Kit, buy a new one ($149). On Pro, regenerate freely. Either way, your old kit stays accessible on its kit page indefinitely.

Is my data private?

Yes. Your brand name, choices, and generated kit are private to you. We don't sell or share your data. Your kit page is private by default with a unique URL only you can access. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

What if Vellem shuts down?

Your kit files are yours forever. Download them locally as backup once you receive them. We deliver real downloadable files rather than only providing access through our platform.

Do you do custom illustration or icons?

No. Vellem generates wordmarks and geometric/abstract marks, but we don't do custom character illustration or detailed iconography.

Can I use Vellem for client work as a designer?

Yes, with the White Label tier ($499 one-time + $49/month). That removes Vellem branding entirely and lets you deliver kits under your own studio name with custom client pricing you set.
