This Acceptable Use Policy outlines the kinds of brands and content that may not be created or generated using Vellem. Violation may result in immediate termination of access without refund and, in serious cases, referral to law enforcement.
Brands you may not create
You may not use Vellem to create brand identity assets for any business, product, service, or organization that:
- Engages in illegal activity under the laws of your jurisdiction or the jurisdiction in which the business operates, including but not limited to fraud, money laundering, illegal drug sales, human trafficking, illegal weapons sales, illegal gambling, or unlicensed financial services.
- Promotes hate, violence, or discrimination against any individual or group based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, or any other protected characteristic.
- Sexually exploits or endangers minors in any way. This is a zero-tolerance category; suspected violations will be reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) where applicable.
- Sells or markets adult sexual content, sexual services, or content that depicts or facilitates sexual violence. Standalone sexual wellness brands (lubricants, contraception, sex therapy) are permitted; explicit pornography, escort services, and similar are not.
- Markets weapons designed primarily to cause mass harm, including explosives, chemical agents, biological agents, or automatic firearms. Standard sporting goods retailers and licensed firearms dealers are permitted.
- Promotes terrorism, extremism, or organized criminal activity.
- Engages in deceptive practices as a core business model, including pyramid schemes, fake review services, fake credential mills, or businesses designed to impersonate other brands.
- Infringes intellectual property rights, including brands that intentionally imitate or imply association with another company's identity without authorization.
- Violates applicable export controls or sanctions, including businesses operating in or for the benefit of sanctioned countries or individuals.
Inputs you may not submit
Regardless of the brand you are creating, you may not submit inputs (brand names, taglines, descriptions, or other text) that:
- Contain slurs, profanity directed at protected classes, or hate speech.
- Contain personal information about identifiable third parties without their consent.
- Are designed to defeat our content filters through obfuscation, character substitution, or similar techniques.
- Reference real public figures, celebrities, or trademarked brand names in a way that implies endorsement or association.
Our content filter may automatically reject some inputs. The filter is not a guarantee that approved inputs are appropriate; you remain responsible for what you submit.
Enforcement
We may, at our discretion: (a) refuse to generate a Kit for any reason; (b) terminate access to the Service for any user found to be in violation; (c) decline to refund purchases where the user violated this Policy; (d) report suspected violations of criminal law to appropriate authorities; (e) preserve and produce records in response to lawful legal process.

If you believe someone is using the Service in violation of this Policy, or if you have a concern about a Kit you have encountered, email abuse@vellem.io. Please include enough detail for us to investigate.
